The sun on every tree
A single leaf was dancing
It was bright in its solitude
And all things were quiet
Always young, always dangerous
There with love and death
Dancing
A single leaf was dancing
(A single leaf was dancing)
Everything was asleep
Even the pale shadows
The noise of the street
Soon faded
The clouds are gathering in
Pass the dark-pined covered hill
Every tree stood alone
All things seemed to stand still
Dancing
A single leaf was dancing
A single leaf was dancing
A single leaf was dancing
A single leaf was…
The leaves began to stir
From the long, long night
With delicate shyness
The trembling of the leaves
The movement of all things
Quite a departure from the wild territories they ventured into with their major label releases. So far, the greatest thrash metal I've heard released in the 2020's. Plus, it's not everyday you hear Rhea Perlman on a metal record. t0cktock
